What is Path to Hanafi Fiqh (PTHF)?

Returning for its second year, Path to Hanafi Fiqh continues the structured study of al-Muqaddimat fi’l-Fiqh by Imam Najm al-Din Mankubars, under the guidance of Shaykh Tabraze Azam. 

At this year’s intensive—taking place December 12th–14th, 2025—participants will continue their journey through this classical text as Shaykh Tabraze reads, translates, and explains the Arabic, offering detailed commentary in English. Open to both returning and new attendees, this year’s sessions will provide clarity, depth, and spiritual enrichment through focused study and interactive discussion.

Participants will receive a printed copy of the text along with meals and refreshments.

Schedule:

• Friday Dec. 12th 2025 (5:30 pm - 9 pm)

• Saturday & Sunday Dec. 13th & 14th 2025 (9 am - 9 pm)

Prerequisites:

• Everyone is welcome, there are no specific prerequisites. However, some previous study of fiqh and basic Arabic skills are recommended.

• Bear in mind that this is a continuation of the text from last year, and the nature of the discussions that arise from the text may be advanced. Attendees will receive access to last year's recordings to help them catch up.

Costs:

• Regular pricing: $175 (includes course text)

• Student pricing (college & university students): $140 (includes course text)

• Note: if you already own the course text, you do not need to purchase it again. 

• Your registration includes all three days of sessions, the course text, refreshments, and, on Saturday and Sunday, lunch and dinner.
